Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Wolverhampton
Pay Rate: Competitive (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-Time – 8:30am to 3:30pm
Smart Education is currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teacher to work with pupils aged 11 to 19 in Wolverhampton. This is a rewarding opportunity to join a supportive special educational needs setting and make a genuine impact on the lives of young people.
As an SEN Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the needs of pupils with a wide range of learning difficulties and disabilities. You will create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every pupil can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Working closely with support staff and other professionals, you will ensure that each student receives a tailored educational experience suited to their individual needs.
You will work with pupils who have a range of special educational needs, including:
SpLD – Specific Learning Difficulty
VI – Visual Impairment
OTH – Other Difficulty/Disability
HI – Hearing Impairment
SLCN – Speech, Language and Communication Needs
ASD – Autism Spectrum Disorder
SEMH – Social, Emotional and Mental Health
PD – Physical Disability
MLD – Moderate Learning Difficulty
SLD – Severe Learning Difficulty
PMLD – Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulty

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
